Learn Filipino Martial Arts online

I love Filipino Martial Arts,  the problem is FMA is not everywhere. There are a lot of cities that do not offer this martial art. Even some States do not have a certified Instructors from an authentic FMA organization. I am an instructor for LSAI - LESKAS and we only have one school in the US, located in Washington, Seattle. We have a certified instructor in New Jersey but she is not interested in putting up a club because she's busy with her studies.

There are a lot of inquires from people located in the different States accross the US. They are asking when will our organization be able to open a chapter in their city/state. Unfortunately, the current answer is indefinite. We just don't have the resources and instructors to open up a chapter anywhere. Their only resource is to go to Youtube.com and search for our videos, even our website mkarnis.org is not updated very often. You can also go to my chapter's website here.

Because of this need, I thought of providing the service online. I plan to create online videos that teaches our lessons. There are some FMA organizations that offer this but they only offer a basic and general package. You really can't learn anything with this. You will need an in-depth lesson plan to follow so you can learn martial arts, especially if its online.

My online videos will simulate the actual teaching when you are in the gym. It will be divided by lessons and will follow a time flow of 3 months for Level 1 lessons. A practitioner will need to go online for video chat once a week or send a video recording of lessons for assessment . Once an assigned instructor checks the video and determines that you have learned the lessons and doing the forms correctly, the next set of videos will be released to you for self study.

Fees will be the same as when you are practicing in the gym. You will pay monthly fees to access the website and the videos. A certified instructor will be assigned to you for weekly assessment to monitor your lessons and improvement. New lessons will entirely depend on your learning pace. If you learn faster, then you will have new lessons, if you don't pass a weekly assessment, then you will have to work on the lesson for another week until you pass. Examinations for higher levels is still being conceptualized. I will update the site whenever I have done this.

For now check out our videos of my students in Youtube.com
